Knowledge is the first step toward safety. As part of the continuing student development initiatives of Dingalan Community College, under the leadership of Acting College President Ms. Cristy C. Domingo, and in collaboration with the Dingalan Municipal Police Station, a Road Safety Awareness Orientation was successfully conducted for DCC students.
The program aimed to promote road safety awareness by educating students on traffic rules and regulations, responsible road behavior, pedestrian safety, and accident prevention. Through this initiative, DCC continues to strengthen its commitment to developing informed, disciplined, and socially responsible individuals both inside and outside the campus.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers for sharing their expertise and inspiring our students to become responsible and safety-conscious members of the community:
Police Captain Jonathan R. Orpia
OIC, Dingalan Municipal Police Station
Police Master Sergeant Mary Ann Laine S. Trucilla, MCAD
Your valuable insights have empowered our students to recognize that road safety is a shared responsibility and that every decision on the road can save lives.
Together, let us continue to promote a culture of discipline, vigilance, and responsibilityโbecause every life matters, and every journey should end safely.
