Dingalan Community College Undergoes Regional Quality Assessment for COPC

Dingalan Community College proudly concludes the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) Level 3 and 4 Regional Quality Assessment, conducted by Dr. Marilou P. Pascua, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Quality Assessment Team Member.

This significant undertaking was graced by our esteemed Chairperson, Hon. Aurora G. Taay, the Members of the Board of Trustees, and our dedicated Technical Working Group, whose collective commitment continues to uphold the College’s pursuit of academic excellence and quality education.

We likewise extend our sincere appreciation to the academic and non-academic personnel of the College, headed by our hardworking Acting College President, Ms. Cristy C. Domingo, for their unwavering dedication and continuing efforts in advancing the mission of Dingalan Community College—to provide quality and transformative education for every aspiring Dingaleño who dreams of a brighter future.

Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) National Conference 2025 (October 27-28, 2025)

Dingalan Community College proudly celebrates its official conferment as a Member in Good Standing by the Association of Local Colleges and Universities (ALCU) National Board during the ALCU National Conference 2025, held on October 27–28 at the Heritage Hotel Manila with the theme: “From Local to Global: Harnessing the Power of LUCs for Sustainable Development.”

This milestone also beautifully coincided with the Investiture Ceremony of our dedicated College President, Ma’am Cristy C. Domingo — a true embodiment of service, leadership, and passion for quality education.

As an official member of ALCU National, DCC eagerly anticipates strengthened collaboration with fellow institutions while upholding its unwavering commitment to promote sustainable and quality academic development, foster research and innovation, cultivate leadership excellence, and enhance sports and holistic student growth—empowering every DCCian to thrive and excel both locally and globally. ASCOT and Dingalan Community College Partner to Share Library Resources

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Aurora State College of Technology (ASCOT) for generously sharing their library resources with Dingalan Community College. This collaboration was made possible through the leadership of Dr. Renato G. Reyes, ASCOT President, and Ms. Mardelyn B. Barrogo, RL, ASCOT College Librarian III. Together with our Acting College President Ms. Cristy C. Domingo, were Ms. Nenita L. Mariano, RI, Librarian; Mr. Joven Viray, Program Head; and Ms. Jamaica L. Valdez, Registrar.

This meaningful partnership reflects our shared commitment to advancing education, fostering research, and promoting a culture of academic excellence. The access to ASCOT’s library resources will greatly benefit our students and faculty, providing them with broader opportunities for learning, discovery, and innovation. Indeed, this collaboration strengthens the bond among higher education institutions in Aurora and inspires us to work hand in hand toward a shared vision of accessible, inclusive, and quality education for all. WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

In celebration of World Mental Health Day, our Guidance Advocate, Ms. Angelyn Figuracion, conducted a short mental health check for our DCC students.

A simple reminder that taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies as your mental health matters just as much as your physical health. So when life feels heavy, pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and rise again stronger. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay — what matters is you never give up.

Through the NANAY RISE Program (Read, Inspire, Succeed, Empower Mothers) — part of the 100 Days Program Initiative of our Chairperson, Hon. Aurora G. Taay, the Dingalan Community College faculty, staff, and students visited one of our IP community in Brgy. Caragsacan.

The Nanay RISE Program aims to encourage and empower our mothers to embrace learning as a lifelong journey — inspiring them to read, grow, and become active partners in nurturing education within their families and communities. A short yet meaningful program was held where we shared books, mental health awareness, learning experiences, and simple tokens with our mothers and children.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Brgy. Captain Hon. Gener Gamatan, SK Chairman Hon. Alfred Robles, Brgy. IPMR Maria Udarbe, and to our generous book donors for making this initiative a success. This is just the beginning — we’ll be back with more books, more learning, and more love to share.

Dingalan Community College extends its sincerest gratitude to Dr. Jocelyn B. Cruz, Dean of the NEUST Graduate School, together with Dr. Cherrylyn L. Trinidad, Dr. Philip Balaria, and Dr. Arceli R. Millan, for their visit last August 14, 2025, through their EM-POWERS flagship extension program.

As part of this observance, DCC conducted a room-to-room campaign on Crime Prevention. The campaign featured videos provided by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in support of the nationwide initiative to strengthen public awareness on crime prevention and community safety.

The week-long event was held from September 1–7, 2025, with the theme:

“Pinalakas na Pamahalaang Lokal para sa Ligtas na Pamayanan: Pagpapatibay ng mga Programa sa Pag-iwas sa Krimen sa Ilalim ng CSOP.”

Dingalan Community College sincerely extends its profound gratitude to the Commission on Higher Education – Regional Office III (CHEDRO III), under the leadership of Director IV Dr. Lora L. Yusi, together with Dr. Lyra Anne Lopez-Padrid and Ms. Tricia Gayle C. Bondoc, for their steadfast guidance and support to emerging local colleges in Central Luzon.
