As part of this observance, DCC conducted a room-to-room campaign on Crime Prevention. The campaign featured videos provided by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in support of the nationwide initiative to strengthen public awareness on crime prevention and community safety.

The week-long event was held from September 1–7, 2025, with the theme:

“Pinalakas na Pamahalaang Lokal para sa Ligtas na Pamayanan: Pagpapatibay ng mga Programa sa Pag-iwas sa Krimen sa Ilalim ng CSOP.”
